                             ORDINANCE NO.   10162 
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO AMEND ARTICLE II, SECTION 100(67).

              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, 
the
         Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
        
              	   SECTION 1.	  That Article II, Section 100 (67) be
         deleted in its entirety and substitute in lieu thereof the
         following:
                   (67)	Parking Space:  Dimensions for parking
                        spaces shall be determined by the City
                        Traffic Engineer.  Handicapped Parking as
                        required by T.C.A. and the Chattanooga
                        Building Code shall meet the current ADA
                        standards.  A copy of the ADA standards
                        is available in the office of the Clerk
                        of the City Council.  All signs and
                        pavement markings for handicapped parking
                        shall conform to City Traffic Engineering
                        Drawing No. A5-H7.  The enforcement of
                        the parking requirements shall be the
                        duty of the City Traffic Engineer.
        
         	   SECTION 2.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as required by law.
